The Data Interoperability Extension is a vital tool for GIS professionals to take their data manipulation and transformation skills to the next level, with minimal programming knowledge required. This presentation focuses on the functionalities of the extension and its application in meeting the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR) requirements for smaller municipalities with minimal existing GIS infrastructure. Examples include the mass population of geometry and attributes from Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, and other spatial features. By leveraging the extension's capabilities, professionals can effectively automate data maintenance tasks, reports, and improve workflows.
